Christine Sylvain is a former journalist turned teacher, now community crusader.
She wants to be the great equalizer in leveling the playing field for kids in low-income schools with high-octane ambitions. Her non-profit transforms and connects communities, one gifted student at a time—helping those who are willing and ready to help themselves, empowering Palm Beach’s best and brightest regardless of their race or financial background. Almost 100 percent of her fellows have gone on to a top state university, many earning prestigious Bright Futures scholarships.
Right now Path to College is accepting applications from Palm Beach students who would benefit from the free--but demanding--college prep fellowship program that Sylvain and her team provide.
